Tank on my friend. I want Boldy or Krebs. If Zegras or Turcotte fall to 10 even better.

Best thing I heard today that Jack Eichel is average and he can’t be moved because no one wants him ( WGR sports fan )

With the Blues pick im liking Lavoie, Caufield, Soderstrom, Newhook. With the Sharks pick I’m liking Leason, Tomasino, McMichael or if any of the aforementioned are still there.

disagree with the average part but would think $10M contracts are hard to move. especially for players that aren't worth that

I’d be tempted to move Mitts & those two 1sts for Point
That’s a lot to give up

But Point is only 22
Building around him, Jack & Dahlin would be pretty great
Especially if we can’t hang onto (or choose not to overpay) Skinner

regarding the tampa situation from the last blog

they move one forward johnson, miller, palat, kilorn

they will be fine for next season

and if point takes a bridge deal, they are fine w/o moving a body

the next season will be tough

With the season Point is having he is going to get paid top dollar. He's on pace for 106 points.

How much does Point benefit from playing with Kucherov and Stammer though ? If he comes here and is a 65 point guy and we are paying him to be a PPG player and then Mittelstadt is all of a sudden a 80 point guy in Tampa how are we better off ?

He'd be stupid to IMO.

He's on pace for 106 point season.

I honestly can't even think of a guy at that age and those numbers going, you know what? I'll take a 2 yr deal for peanuts because I still have to prove to you what I can do.

His agent is going to be shouting "Show mw the money" anytime Tampa or any other team calls him.

And to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure he isn't just a product of Tampa the way they're constructed.

am still of the opinion that botts owes it to this group to make a move or two to help this team...am looking at a player like hagelin, whom botts is very familiar with and probably trusts, and would also set my sights on ryan dzingel from the sens

tampa is a different beast though

look what Kuch did, took less on a bridge
stamkos took less

I still think they probably move johnson or killorn but it would not shock me if point takes a 2 year 10-12 mil bridge
